Big Festival Theater - 1,1 km

Rock Riding School - 1,1 km
A very special theater and opera experience awaits you in the Felsenreitschule. In 1693 the riding school was carved out of the rock of the Mönchsberg. This unique venue has been used for performances of the Salzburg Festival used. From 1969 to 1970 the Felsenreitschule was adapted to the needs for a modern game operation and today offers 1.437 spectators.
House for Mozart - 1,1 km
On the occasion of the Mozart year 2006, the former court stables were converted into the house for Mozart. Mozart's “Le Nozze di Figaro” was performed at the opening. The Haus für Mozart has space for 1.580 people interested in culture. The Haus für Mozart is also the setting for the famous Salzburg Festival, which is celebrated by thousands of visitors every year.
Salzburg State Theater - 1,6 km
The Salzburg State Theater with around 1.000 seats is located south of the Mirabell Gardens and can be easily reached on foot in about 15 minutes or with a short bus ride. Puppet Theater - 1,6 km
In 1913 the first puppet play was performed in the theater. Prof. Anton Aicher staged Mozart's “Bastien and Bastienne” and was so successful that the repertoire was continuously expanded. After numerous successes abroad and worldwide tours, the puppets were given their own theater in 1971 - today's Salzburg Marionette Theater.
